On my second assignment for Samara, I photographed the newly refurbished Karoo Lodge. The brief was to photograph all new interiors and document some of Samara’s unique guest experiences: cheetah tracking, guided bush walks, river picnics and their very romantic star bed. Samara’s conservation ethos and heart for rewilding aligns deeply with my own values, it naturally was a joy to return to this beautiful part of our country and create these images for them.
